                                        Reflection essay of Definition Assignment

     The main purpose of definition assignment is writing an extended, exploratory definition of a term with cultural significance. The reason of choosing “education” as my theme of this assignment is the word “education” is a controversial topic. Instead of scientific topic, education is the theme which I can have my personal opinion. Education are functional at two parts, learning the facts of the physical world and personal moral development. Students and educationists talk about how does modern education destroy their creativity, they want to change the education system. On the other side, the government wants as many as possible educated rate of population. It is an argumentative word which has many different points of view.

     The knowledge of previous assignment is used in definition assignment. I break the whole essay into several paragraphs and each paragraph has its own subtitle. The aspects opinion of education is showing in every paragraph. The differentiation of this paper between the similar paper I have written is I’m taking the reference of videos. Researching video become an interesting processes, because there are many celebrities publicly talking about education. The videos are more powerful than the essay online.

     This assignment is in the middle of research essay and argumentative essay. A research essay uses passive voice to deliver the information to the readers. An argumentative essay uses passive voice and active voice to deliver the information. Different voices create different style of writing.
